Jérôme Picard is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design, University of Bergen, and partner at LOCAL, an architecture and urbanism studio based in Bergen. He leads Greymatter and is recognised for advancing spatial strategies that integrate health, aging, and care into everyday neighbourhood life.

Design & Practice Research

Jérôme Picard is an architect MNAL and interior architect MNIL working between architecture, urbanism, and research. Educated at the Architectural Association in London and École Boulle in Paris, his work connects international practice with academic inquiry. He was research fellow at Pratt Institute, New York, on Aging in Place, and is lead researcher at the Department of Design, University of Bergen.
