SHAPING TOMORROW’S COMMUNITIES

Jerome is an Associate Professor at the Design Faculty of UiB Bergen University and a partner at LOCAL, an architecture and urbanism firm based in Bergen. He leads Greymatter and is recognized for his innovative work in designing caring communities, focused on integrating health and aging in our daily life and neighbourhood.

Design & Practice-based research

Jérôme Picard is an architect MNAL and interior architect MNIL. He has a master’s degree in urbanism from the AA in London and a master’s degree in spatial design from École Boulle in Paris. He recently completed a research grant on “Aging in Place” at Pratt University in New York, and is lead researcher at the department of design of Bergen University.
